About North Central University

North Central University is a coeducational, undergraduate, primarily residential college in Minneapolis, also known as `City of Lakes` and the `Mill City,` the county seat of Hennepin County and the largest city in the US state of Minnesota, having a population estimated at a number of more than 386 000 inhabitants, during the 2009 census, which also makes it the 48th largest city in the US.

The university was established in 1930 and it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers its students majors and minors in various areas of study, including programs that can be completed in one, two, or three years, as well as `a unique curriculum of supporting programs that is extremely flexible.`

Athletics

North Central's athletic teams are known as the Rams and they compete in NCAA Division III and NCCAA Division II. Their distinctive colors are Navy blue and Vegas gold, and their mascot is Bama the Rama.
